It's time for the race season

The first day of turkey season was good to me this year. I pulled the trigger on a nice tom about 10 minutes after I started calling. I'm not sure if its luck or if I'm a good caller but the last 3 seasons have totaled approximately 1.5 hours in the woods with 3 toms in the bag.





Success feels good and I hope this race season feels good. BRING ON IOLA!!

Screwed Again

While everybody else is posting how their check cleared for the Chequamegon 40 cleared, mine has not and is probably on it's way back in the mail as I post this. 2years in a row that I've gotten the shaft from the lottery system. The Iceman fiasco has however let 800 additional racers in over previous years.
